Hi Belinda – it could definitely be lava! I tried googling for Hornby Island rock formation information but didn’t come up with much. It’s been great meeting you too – it’s always funny to meet someone online/offline that you know in the other sphere… :)
I believe on Saturna Island, it is lava! That’s where I remember seeing these rock formations first! Will you be coming to the Beaty Museum this Thursday?
